ATRI Seeks Professional Driver Input on NC Parking Issues

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) released a survey for professional drivers that will identify and analyze truck parking issues in North Carolina. The brief online survey requests important information from professional drivers on where, why and when they park at locations throughout North Carolina and how truck parking can be improved at both private truck stops and public rest areas.

The survey effort is sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the information will provide important input on freight planning throughout the state. Commercial drivers who operate in the southeastern U.S. are encouraged to provide their insights and information through ATRI’s survey by Friday, Nov. 18. The survey is available at www.atri-online.org.

All survey responses are confidential, and the results will be available later this year.
