Werner Receives 2016 Strategic Solutions Award

Werner recently received the 2016 Strategic Solutions Award at the WestRock Key Supplier Conference held Sept. 20-21, in Atlanta.

As a WestRock supplier, Werner received the award for implementing innovative, long-term collaborative solutions that provide competitive advantage through market competitive pricing, service improvement and continuity of supply.

Associates Network at Bridging the Gap

Werner associates recently attended U.S. Senator Deb Fischer’s Bridging The Gap event at the Field Club of Omaha. Bridging the Gap’s mission is to inspire women to engage in their communities at the local, state and national level.

A panel including Emily Brummund, life and leadership coach, Laurie Smith Camp, chief U.S. district judge, and Dr. Courtney McCashland, chief executive officer-Strengths Research, discussed leadership, networking and mentoring. Bridging The Gap encourages women to join forces to strengthen families and communities.

Blue Brigade: PB&J Sandwich Making Event

The Blue Brigade helped make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to donate to Youth Emergency Services and the Open Door Mission. These sandwiches will be used in outreach bags for homeless adults and youth.
