Werner Enterprises participated in Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 25. Parents were invited to bring their children to Werner’s global headquarters to participate in several fun activities while learning about safety and transportation. Kids were taken to four separate stations, where they played bingo, participated in a stop and go game, went on a scavenger hunt and built paper Werner trucks. They also got to tour a Werner truck, which is always a favorite with kids. Werner proudly took part in this very special day to support our youth and future generations.
Werner Enterprises is once again proud to team up with the Omaha Children’s Museum in Omaha, Nebraska, for its newest exhibit, “Itty Bitty City.”Featured in the exhibit is a kid-sized Werner Enterprises truck complete with an interactive map that encourages kids to learn and explore geography. Kids can also work and play in a 10,000 square foot kid-powered metropolis filled with an airport, ambulance, bank, construction site, park, news station and more. “Itty Bitty City” is inspired by places in the Omaha area and has been created with the help of more than 30 area businesses and organizations. This is the third “community-engaged exhibit” created in partnership with organizations across the area.
