The Company has successfully evolved in the logistics sector, and China has been key to its growth. “We went in to China with a very clear understanding of our customers’ needs for transparency, efficiency, a fact-based supply chain,” stated Craig Stoffel, vice president of global logistics.
Werner began to fine-tune its logistics operations in Mexico and Canada before making the move to China, which was done based on customers’ needs. “We have the capability to offer them options,” stated Stoffel. “It’s not just about bringing it to the same destination faster.” Werner Global Logistics tracks shipments and will work to solve problems with time constraints.
Werner is proud of its local roots, and as an Omaha based business, the Company strives to keep ties with other local business as much as possible. While plenty of competition exists in the market, the Company has been aggressive, resulting in the growth and success of Werner Global Logistics.
